In A Classroom
NMI is Structural Integration for the 21st century. Utilizing the core principles of Structural Integration, created by Dr. Ida P Rolf, but updated with current pain science, fascial and neurological research, NMI is a system of working with the human body that is unparalleled in helping clients meet their health goals. These benefits are a direct result of the client and therapist creating a system that focuses on client education and self-care tools to manage issues as they happen.
While focusing on and respecting the teachings of Dr. Ida P. Rolf, the creator of the 10 series of Structural Integration, Neuro Movement Integration has brought Structural Integration into the modern era of healthcare. We are meeting the demands of modern day students by bringing in the latest information about pain science, neuroscience, functional movement and practice development to create leaders in healthcare.
Neuro Movement Integration is a highly effective hands on therapy that teaches healthcare providers how to work with the client’s connective tissues and nervous system in combination with simple client movement and education. As a result of combining client movement with safe and effective therapist touch we are able to help the client move past restrictions and limitations that are both chronic and acute.
With NMI’s proven and successful client movement education we can help our clients learn how to address issues as they are happening. We do this by helping them retrain their nervous system from what it thinks is correct to what is actually bio-mechanically correct. Our clients will find long term and effective relief from pain with awareness and empowerment.
